| Tasting notes | The 2021 Adrianna Vineyard Mundus Bacillus Terrae is an exceptional high-altitude Malbec, displaying extraordinary purity, precision and mineral complexity. Deep violet-purple in colour, the bouquet reveals expressive aromas of blackberry, black cherry, blueberry and red plum, interwoven with delicate violet, lavender, crushed limestone, graphite and subtle notes of peppercorn and dried herbs. On the palate, the wine is intensely concentrated yet remarkably elegant, with layers of dark berries, ripe cherry and savoury spice supported by vibrant natural acidity. Fine-grained, tightly woven tannins provide exceptional structure, while the vineyard's limestone-rich soils contribute a distinctive mineral character and remarkable freshness. The finish is long, focused and beautifully persistent, carrying notes of dark fruit, wet stone, graphite and subtle earthy complexity. A sophisticated expression of Argentine Malbec, balancing remarkable depth with restraint, finesse and exceptional ageing potential. |
