Deep, dark ruby-red in colour, VIK A 2022 offers red and black fruit aromas of ripe strawberries and raspberries, plums and blackberries. Aromas of fresh spices such as white and black pepper emerge alongside the dried fruit notes from the French oak barrels of our one-of-a-kind “Barroir” project, instilling in this wine the inimitable expression of our terroir.
This elegant, vibrant and dynamic wine with intense minerality has a unique silky mouthfeel. It offers firm structure with smooth, somewhat tense tannins and balanced, juicy acidity, giving rise to a nervy wine with a long finish that you’ll never forget.

The VIK “A” concept reflects our terroir’s will to express each variety in a place that is itself unique! These plots reveal to us the pure expression of Carmenère from Millahue, with its joyfully deep colour and cobalt hues that seduce the gaze. Its elegant aromas gift us black fruit like blackberries and plums and spicy notes that together generate a sound in the imagination that goes beyond pleasure to become transcendent. The mouth delivers fine-grained, rounded tannins and body that is expressive and abundant without being heavy. Meanwhile the acidity lends dynamism.
The Cabernet Sauvignon, like a good friend, provides structure and tension to the mouth, while on the nose red fruit and spices complement the wine’s layers of flavours, delivering complexity and elegance.

“A” Cabernet Franc reveals the exact character of our terroir, showcasing elegant tannins that are supple and mobile, dancing across the palate with fine tension and delivering a sensation of dynamism and juiciness that will tempt you to enjoy another glass. The nose shows ripe black fruit at their peak expression and spices; flavours that are balanced by the acidity underpinning the fine minerality that seduces the palate.
