The colour is pale yellow with glittering green highlights. Very intense, fruit-forward nose reveals aromas of citrus fruit mingled with pear compote, rose petal and lemon verbena, accompanied by notes of lightly toasted nuts and hints of marzipan from time spent in oak.
Palate: A solid attack leads into a mineral palate that is complex, substantial and succulent, with refreshingly crisp acidity. Citrus flavours return on the long and lingering finish.
2021 Escudo Rojo Reserva Pinot Noir – 91 points James Suckling
Casablanca Valley, Chile – 100% Pinot Noir – 13.1% ABV
8 months, 80% French oak barrels / 10% new barrels and 90% 1-to-2-year-old barrels
Cherry-red colour with delicate ruby-red highlights. A very intense, fruity wine with red fruit aromas such as cherry, cranberry, sage and earthy forest floor mingled with smooth nuances of spices and jam, combined with a hint of toasted almonds imparted by barrel ageing.
The palate starts out excellent and very refreshing on the palate. Good volume and nice unctuous texture mid-palate. The structure reveals very smooth and elegant tannins. The aromatic complexity and red fruit notes return on the long finish, accompanied by good acidity.
2022 MAPU Classic Sauvignon Blanc
Maule Valley, Chile – 100% Sauvignon Blanc – 13.0% ABV
The wine is matured in vats for a relatively short period of around six months in order to preserve all its freshness and fruit.
Lovely, brilliant yellow colour. Fresh and intense, revealing aromas of passion fruit and boxwood, mingled with smooth notes of white peach and hints of jasmine. Starts out intense and full-bodied with good balance on the palate. Tropical fruit notes come to the fore, underpinned by excellent acidity, resulting in a long-lasting finish.
2021 Clos de LUZ Agreste Pais Moscatel – 93 points Descorchados
Almahue Valley, Chile – 90% Pais, 10% Moscatel – 12.3% ABV
The grapes are harvested by hand and shelled in old manual bamboo crushers and directly sent to open bins fermenting with native yeasts. At the end of its alcoholic fermentation, the wine is stored in fifth and sixth use 225-litre barrels for 10 months, aiming for an evolution, but not for the wood to hide the delicate aromas of the grape.
Striking light cherry colour, somewhat cloudy due to not being filtered, it is an aromatic, floral and perfumed wine, with a low alcohol content of 12,3% and a remarkable profile. Fresh, juicy and light on the palate, it is marked by fine tannins, with great character.
2024 MAPU Classic Rosé
Maule Valley, Chile – 40% Grenache, 30% Carignan, 15% Cinsault, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon – 13.0% ABV
Maturation: 5 months in stainless steel vats in order to preserve aromas.
Very vivid, light cantaloupe colour, with an orange rim. Very fresh on the nose, loaded with tart red fruit aromas such as cherry, strawberry and blueberry, accompanied by a hint of herbs.
The palate is smooth, with fresh red fruit flavours alongside citrus-like acidity that makes the palate persistent. Tart cherry and strawberry aromas and flavours come through once again on the mid-palate. All these elements make this wine very easy to drink.
2023 Chateau Los Boldos Gran Reserva Chardonnay – 91 points La Cav

Yellow colour with golden tones. Fresh nose with notes of tropical fruits, pineapple and white flowers. On the palate, a refreshing acidity, a broad structure and good weight in the mouth. A short period in barrel provides complex notes.
